New Year Eve

Today, on the way to airport, still keeping the euphoric feeling from yesterday, with Bob Dylan singing in my iPod:

May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
May you stay forever young

I remember 2 days ago, someone called me to ask if I saw “I’m not there”, a movie about Bob Dylan, and “I thought about you while watching it” (oops, I really hope it’s not because I look like the Cate-Blanchett-creepy-look-when-she-played-Bob )

And on the way to the airport, I feel like some of you said yesterday, perhaps sounds very “cliché” but I believe that you were very honest when you said it, that anyway, life is so nice and worth to live.

And when I come back home, I received that nhí nhố card , and I really wanna know what does it mean “Weihnachten, das ist die Zeit der Ruhe und Besinnlichkeit”.

And in this very last moment of 2007, just wanna say thank you to all of you, for the time we spend together, for enjoying each other, for having the same belief, hope, for being you. And for knowing that happiness is for real and you can have it.

Because you gave to me oh so many things it makes me wonder
How they could belong to me

Happy new year

Big yes to “Life is nice and worth living” (after all)

And big yes to “Happiness is for real and you can have it” (even just for some fleeting moments)

Not Bob Dylan but Pink Floyd had been ringing in my ears for the past couple of days:

“Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
Come on you raver, you seer of visions, come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!
Come on you boy child, you winner and loser,
Come on you miner for truth and delusion, and shine!”

Shine on! Shine on! As if we were crazy, mad, broken, brilliant, dancing, flying, sinking, dying, living, and loving pieces of diamond :) Happy New Year!
